Top 5 Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Presidents Day 2023
The Presidents Day 2023 deals have arrived, and this is your best opportunity to save money on Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard during these holiday sales. So don’t miss this chance and grab the opportunity from here.
As someone who enjoys gaming keyboards but has trouble committing to a single set, I am pleased to report that I may have finally settled on the Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro as my new permanent keyboard.
You’ll be pleased to keep the Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro on your desk because of its stunning style and impressive combination of functions. Since I am a huge fan of Razer products, I naturally had high hopes for their gaming keyboard.
The wireless connection is a fantastic feature that I much value. In comparison to a wireless gaming mouse, a wireless gaming keyboard isn’t necessarily essential, depending on your needs; nonetheless, it does help you to clean up your workspace by eliminating unsightly connections. Consequently, you should think about the battery life, which Razer estimates at roughly 26 hours at maximum brightness and nearly 200 hours with the lights turned off. As advertised, I was able to get about 27 hours of use off of a single charge while using the device with the brightness set to maximum.
The Deathstalker V2 Pro’s selling feature is its optical switches and accompanying low-profile keycaps. Since the actuation point of optical switches is substantially higher than that of mechanical switches, less key travel is required. According to Razer, this is guaranteed for 70 million keystrokes. One can go with the typical linear optical switch, or they can choose for the clicky mechanical alternative. We obtained the typical linear data set.

Slimness is one of the first things you’ll notice about this keyboard’s design. Ignoring the keycaps, the backplate is so thin and streamlined that it feels great just sitting on your desk. Additionally, there are the flat keycaps to consider. It’s all a matter of taste, but I really dig the design of these. When compared to standard keycaps, I find that the narrower key spacing makes typing much more comfortable for me.
The top plate is composed of sturdy metal, which, in addition to looking great, also complements the keyboard’s low profile and modern aesthetic. Note, however, that any fingerprints left behind are highly visible and somewhat difficult to remove. The fingerprints are visible in the photograph.
Many keyboards feature feet on the rear so you may adjust the height to one of three settings. This aids ergonomics and comfort, particularly when typing or gaming for extended periods of time, which helps alleviate discomfort in the hands and wrists. Keep in mind that most products at this price bracket, especially ones manufactured by Razer, will come with a wrist rest, however this one did not. In all honesty, I didn’t see any difference from my regular huntsman, which also lacked a wrist rest.
So far in my testing, I’ve grown rather fond of this keyboard, and am seriously considering switching over to it from my primary keyboard. While I enjoy the flat keys found on most Apple computers, as a former Mac user I have found it difficult to find low-profile caps that provide the same level of satisfaction as a more classic mechanical design. As someone who types all day for business, the keys on this board feel great to me, and it feels like I’ve been searching for this keyboard for my whole life.
Regular keycaps, like the ones on my Razer Huntsman, cause me to tap between keys and make more mistakes, as I mentioned above. When typing quickly or by touch, I rarely have any missed letters because I don’t have to press as hard on the keys.
These low-profile keycaps are great in every way except for one: you can’t swap out the keycaps. This takes away an important form of personalization for me. This black keyboard doesn’t match my pink and white layout as well as my Razer Huntsman in Quartz. Black components in a setup are never completely out of place, however this does go well with the black bezels on my monitor.
Should you buy the Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro?
Simply said, if you’re in the market for a new keyboard, you should get this one. However, it should be noted that many of the stated aspects are matters of taste. This is probably not the right keyboard for you if you want keycaps with more height. Be wary if you’re more of a mechanical than an optical person.
This keyboard comes with a two-year warranty and a price tag of $/£249.99, but its high-quality construction and extensive feature set more than justify the investment.
If you’re not like the low profile caps and optical switches, you can obtain a similarly slim design and the same emphasis on fast inputs with the Razer Huntsman V2 (for about $190). Yet, you will no longer have access to wireless internet.
