According to Dacona Smith, Walmart U.S.’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, “our employees make the difference,” and never has that been more true than it is right now. To show our appreciation for our employees’ hard work and dedication, we will be closing all of our stores on Thanksgiving.
Walmart will still be open on Wednesday for regular hours, so if you forget something Tuesday, you can get what you need. In addition, Walmart has stated that it would begin offering discounts on popular gift categories beginning on October 1, and that customers will have until January 31, 2023 to return items purchased on or after October 1. So, you may space out your Christmas buying throughout the year.
